As the foundation receives no ongoing government funding, it relies upon personal donations, fundraising and corporate sponsorship to meet costs the foundation occurs on a daily basis associated with running the foundation, providing support, information and awareness services. Every dollar goes a long way – $10 or more per month on a regular basis all adds up, and we really appreciate it. It is worthwhile remembering that all donations made to the Foundation $2.00 and over are fully tax deductible.
Making a regular (periodic) donation helps the foundation plan ahead to formulate our support program, and importantly, gives the foundation surety for the future. This can be done easily online via the Foundation’s secure credit card donation portal, internet banking or simply by asking your bank or financial institution to arrange it.
The Bernie Banton Foundation holds gift recipient status with the ATO, therefore all donations $2.00 and over are fully tax deductible.
HOW TO MAKE REGULAR DONATIONS
The easiest ways to make periodic donations is via recurring credit card donations or via your own internet banking.
Making Recurring Credit Card Donations Is Quick and Easy
It is really easy to make recurring donations via your credit card, to do so, simply go to the Foundation’s secure credit card donation form portal, then tick the MONTHLY tab, this will then mean your nominated amount will be deducted from your credit card once each month. You will automatically receive a tax receipt every time a donation is processed, provided you have supplied your correct contact details – for ease of contact, and so we can thank you, we encourage you to fill in all the fields on the form and tell us why you are making the recurring donation. Making Regular Donations by Direct Deposit Out of Your Everyday Bank Account
The easiest way to make periodic donations out of your bank account is by a Monthly Direct Debit via your own internet banking. It is easy to do and you have total control. Once you have decided on an amount and how often you would like to donate, simply add the foundation’s banking details into the accounts section and do a normal transaction, when you get to the section called regular/periodic/recurrent (or something similar) payments, fill in when you would like your REGULAR DONATION to be made, then complete the transaction. You will receive an annual Tax Receipt from the Foundation covering all the financial year providing you let us know you are making the recurring donation by filling in and sending the form below with your correct contact details. This will also allow us to personally acknowledge your generosity.
If you do not have internet banking, staff at your bank or similar institution will be able set it up for you.
Whether you set it up online, or bank staff do it for you, you will need the foundation’s banking details.
